“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”
Several times, I told God: If my purpose is to serve you as an assembly Pastor or village Pastor, let me know; I don’t want to do more than that. And if it is for me to be a General Overseer, help me; I don’t want to do less. Today, I am not a general overseer or an assembly pastor but I’m fulfilled.
A survey was taken and it was discovered that there are about three reasons ministers of God fall sick or die easily. One major reason is oversize/under size. For instance, you are meant to be a village Pastor, but you launched out into the city (oversize) or you are meant to be a city Pastor but you end up in a village (undersize). One who is destined to become a classroom teacher but went into lecture hall likewise…it would be frustrating, or someone who is destined as a lecturer but went into classroom. I tell you: oversize is not good, undersize is not better. Get to understand where you belong and at the same time don’t be a mediocre: don’t settle for the less; be the best you can be, even as a shoe maker, be the best shoe maker. That is fulfillment. God bless you.
